MINTEMP Thermocouple Probes
Disposable immersion thermocouple tips for accurate, single-use temperature measurement in molten iron and steel. Manufactured to BS EN 60584-1 ITS-90 standard. Compatible with all major lance and instrument systems globally.
Each tip contains a precision-calibrated thermocouple junction protected by a cardboard and steel outer tube, designed to vaporise on immersion — delivering a clean, accurate reading within 2–4 seconds.

MINOX Oxygen Probes — Low PPM
Electrochemical zirconia-based oxygen sensors for primary steelmaking (BOF/Converter and EAF). Measures dissolved oxygen activity in liquid steel at low parts-per-million levels, essential for deoxidation control and alloy yield optimisation.

MINSAMP Sampler Probes
MINSAMP Steel & Slag Samplers
Disposable steel and slag samplers for chemical analysis. The probe is immersed in liquid steel; steel flows into a sealed metal mould and solidifies to form a lollipop or disc sample for spectrometric analysis. Available in single-chamber (steel only) and double-chamber (steel + slag) designs.

In-situ dissolved hydrogen measurement in liquid steel, directly at the ladle or degasser.
